Design, Build and Drive! Put together engines, gadgets, doors, wheels, lights and tons more! Just about everything you think can be used for making a car is in Gary’s junk yard. It’s up to you to recycle these wacky old parts into amazing vehicles in the workshop.

Gary Gadget is the guy you want to be friends with because he’s got his own great pile of junk.

In his awesome workshop you can build real cars (or crazy ones) from the parts you find in his junk pile: normal looking cars with a gas engines or real crazy creations that are powered by steam engines and even sails!

Once your car is built, take it for a spin! Drive by Blue Lake and visit the neighbors. Soon you will find out that Gary's neighbors need your help from time to time. Like, when Mia's cat gets stuck up a tree and you’ll need to bring a ladder car to help get her down. Or when Freddy's dog runs away ...

Most of the people you help will thank you with new junk parts. Once you get new junk, you can build even more cars. If you're building a really good looking car you could win a creative car medal ...

Psssst! ----This is how you can download the bonus game for Building Cars with Gary Gadget!

If you have a PC:
Click on the sign that says "PC". When the download window appears choose "save". Choose the folder "My documents\Viva Media\Gary Gadget\Building Cars\Plugins" to save the file. If you installed "Building Cars..." in a different folder you need to put it in the folder where you installed the game. Then open this folder and double click on the downloaded file to unzip it. After that there should be two new files named "plugin.cst" and "66.dxr" in that folder.
Now you can start "Building Cars..." again.

If you have a Mac:
Click on the sign that says "MAC". When the download window appears you just choose "save". Choose the folder "My documents\Viva Media\Gary Gadget\Building Cars\Plugins" to save the file. If you installed "Building Cars..." in a different folder you need to put it in the folder where you installed the game.. After the download the packed file should extract itself in the folder (If it doesn't work double click the file. If it still doesn't work you might need software called "StuffIt Expander".)
After that there should be two new files named "plugin.cst" and "66.dxr" in the folder.
Now you can start "Building Cars..." again.

While the game is running:
Here’s how to access your new bonus game. After you’ve started the playing again you need to take your car out for a drive. You’ll see a sign on the road that says to "Blue Lake" or to "Ferrous field". If you go to "Ferrous field" you’ll find your cool bonus game. Have fun!

If your kids enjoy creating with Legos or other building sets, then they will probably enjoy this open-ended game of constructing cars.
